Raichur, with Gangavathi and Sindhanur, is the heart of the Tungabhadra rice bowl and the main source of sona masuri in Karnataka.

We buy sona masuri directly at Raichur during peak arrivals, before the lots move to Ahmedabad for processing and packing. Buying at the source market means the widest choice of lots and no trader margin between the farmer and our customer, which is how we hold both quality and price.
