Punjab basmati is grown in the Majha region around Amritsar, Tarn Taran and Gurdaspur.
We buy basmati rice white sella directly at Amritsar during peak arrivals, before the lots move to Ahmedabad for processing and packing. Buying at the source market means the widest choice of lots and no trader margin between the farmer and our customer, which is how we hold both quality and price.
