Coriander & Cumin Powder
Dhana jeera
The Gujarati dhana-jeera blend, roasted and ground.
Where we buy it
Unjha, Mehsana, Gujarat
Unjha is the largest cumin and fennel market in Asia and the reference market for cumin, fennel, ajwain, fenugreek and other seed spices.
The seed-spice belt of northern Gujarat and adjoining Rajasthan.
We buy coriander & cumin powder directly at Unjha during peak arrivals, before the lots move to Ahmedabad for processing and packing. Buying at the source market means the widest choice of lots and no trader margin between the farmer and our customer, which is how we hold both quality and price.
