Where we buy it
Bodinayakanur, Theni, Tamil Nadu
Bodinayakanur is the cardamom auction centre of the Spices Board, with Puttady in Kerala, and the largest cardamom market in the country.
The Cardamom Hills of Idukki in Kerala and Theni in Tamil Nadu.
We buy cardamom powder directly at Bodinayakanur during peak arrivals, before the lots move to Ahmedabad for processing and packing. Buying at the source market means the widest choice of lots and no trader margin between the farmer and our customer, which is how we hold both quality and price.
